Then when Selwyn Infants amalgamated with Selwyn Junior School in Spring 2007 we undertook a survey of ICT providers and decided on SBS to be our service provider. SBS have worked closely with Selwyn Primary in establishing a whole new school network for admin and ICT. They were able to smoothly migrate data from both schools and amalgamate the school office. We have found their Sims support to be very personable and effective. The helpdesk provides much needed valuable support. On site training (one to one) is very good. ICT Support is also very personable and effective, our technician quickly establishing our needs and getting to know our system. All SBS staff have established good relationships with school staff which has been constructive in developing school’s staff skills. SBS are very successful at being able to respond to our schools particular needs and this is very positive in a developing new school. Our Gold Service means that amongst other things, we have regular visits to support with budget development, planning and monitoring and our consultant also stays to take the Resources Committee of the Governing Body through the budget and finances and to answer any questions. They work closely with my finance officer meaning I have more time to concentrate on the other demands of headship, confident in the knowledge that the financial aspects of school are being left in the hands of experts, who will update me and advise me as necessary.
