SBS MIS support team achieves Capita SIMS accreditation for the third time!

Our accreditation visit, led by Capita's Professional Services team, took place during the SBS Company Development Day and included a presentation of a glass award to Viv Reed, MIS Manager. The visit finalises the accreditation process, which entails a thorough assessment of our high quality service, including monitoring our Service Desk and training sessions, and in-depth feedback from our schools. It's very rewarding to see from the report that our scores have improved for each accreditation - whilst supporting an increasing number of schools - with a retention rate of 98%. We strive to be the leading SIMS support company for schools, academies and organisations across the country and to continuously improve our support KPIs so we are delighted to have achieved our third Capita-accreditation. Remaining a Capita-accredited SIMS team is an achievement that should be celebrated and we are very touched by the feedback from the survey. A big thankyou to all schools who participated. Our next Data Managers Forum

Did you know about our Data Managers Forum? Hosted by Viv Reed, MIS Manager at SBS, our inaugural Data Managers Forum on Wednesday 11th July focussed on assessment and SIMS resources available to support schools in data management and analysis. Guest presentations from Janette Hall and Ben Jones from Capita formed part of the session along with a Consultancy Café and a chance to Ask the Panel. The Capita addition of SIMS Discover (this is built into your standard SIMS licence, therefore no additional cost is involved) is an ideal tool for determining where the gaps are between different groupings of pupils and will help the school to monitor changes. SBS has consultants with the skills to assist the school to make the most of this utility and would advise on its use as an analysis tool.
