CTF issue with SIMS Spring Release (7.186)

Current precautionary advice: Do not to use the CTF mechanism to share pupil and contact details with other schools until further notice

Capita have informed us that there could be a CTF issue in the Spring Release (7.186) of SIMS.net.

Whilst we have currently not been given any information on what the issue may be, Capita are advising that any schools that have taken the upgrade to not generate and send any CTFs until the full scope of the problem has been identified, and a solution put in place.

Capita advise that if you have taken the upgrade, and you have sent a CTF to another school, that you should contact the recipient school to check that the details that have been loaded into their SIMS is correct and does not contain any erroneous data.

Unfortunately, we have not been given any further information on this issue at this time, but rest assured that we will update you when we have been given specific information on the details, and any actions that may need to be undertaken to resolve any issue.
