Strictly Education, the leading education support services provider, has launched a new single HR, payroll and pensions system designed specifically for the education sector.

The system, called EduPeople, will significantly ease the burden of managing the school workforce for both school leaders and their administrative staff and give back greater overall control of this critical part of daily operations.

With one employee record at its core, EduPeople eliminates the need for duplicate data entry. EduPeople, which comes with a team of over 50 education experts, saves time, improves accuracy and avoids costly mistakes through the automation of all administrative HR, pensions and payroll processes.

Amanda Fisher, CEO at Strictly Education said “As a trusted partner to over 2,000 schools and academy trusts, we asked our clients what they wanted from an HR and payroll system and tailored the specification to meet the unique requirements of an education-specific system. Through this investment, EduPeople provides an affordable option for every school or trust and enables them to focus on adding value in the classroom.”

Many of Strictly Education current payroll clients have already migrated to EduPeople as they can see the benefits the rich HR admin functionality will bring to their academy trust. Smart HR features enable schools to manage their HR processes and reporting more effectively.

From recruitment and onboarding to fostering a high-performance culture, managing staff absence, case management and the single central record, EduPeople has it covered. With regular updates, the system will ensure schools’ legislative requirements are met both today and in the future.

Nunthorpe Academy Trust, who has recently moved to EduPeople could see the benefits the new system would bring. Nunthorpe’s HR Manager said,

“We saw EduPeople as an excellent way to develop our HR/Payroll systems in a way which would not only create a better 'user friendly' environment for our staff records in terms of the self-service functionality but would also allow the trust greater strategic analysis and cost effectiveness with our HR and payroll processes. We look forward to fully utilising all the HR modules within the EduPeople portal for the benefit of our staff and the trust.”

EduPeople’s team of support-staff experts and consultants, who understand the nuances of the education sector, make it easy and low risk for schools and trusts to switch their HR or payroll provision and ensure they get the most value from the unrivalled HR functionality EduPeople has to offer. The modular functionality also means EduPeople can scale and grow with the school or trust.

Nunthorpe Academy Trust’s HR Manager continued,

“Strictly has supported us throughout the project to aid the smooth migration of data and ensure this has had minimal impact on the day to day running of our service during the interim.”

Three levels of service are available from EduPeople: Core, Premium and Platinum.

About Strictly Education

Founded in 2004, Strictly Education has grown to become a leading education-specific provider of professional education support services and solutions to schools, academies and multi-academy trusts (MATs). Since its recent acquisition of Babcock 4S (now Strictly Education 4S) and 3BM Education (now Strictly Education 3BM) in 2019, around 700,000 children benefit from the support it provides to over 1,200 maintained schools, 900 academies and 180 MATs in over 100 local authorities across the UK.

Acutely aware of the challenges facing headteachers, business managers and governors to deliver improved outcomes for pupils with fewer resources, their robust professional service capabilities, technology-led solutions and strategic leadership support enables schools to reduce their administrative costs, remain compliant with statutory responsibilities, and stay fully focused on improving the learning outcomes of their pupils.

Schools can rely on their HR expertise to help with issues such as staff absence and retention and improve business efficiency with their support for payroll and pensions administration, governance, finance, SIMS and technology, and premises including health and safety.

With headteachers continuing to face the twin pressures of having ‘to do more with less’, whilst also managing significant structural, human and financial change with school, academy and MAT expansion, Strictly Education has defined a clear mission and modus operandi: to be the trusted partner in education support services, enabling school leaders to achieve the best outcomes for children and young people, by providing a flexible mix of strategic and hands-on operational support.
