SIMS Pay, the new name for Capita’s payment system.
Capita have decided that they are changing the name of their payment system from SIMS Agora to SIMS Pay. This is to help them align their service with expectations so that they can “equip schools with delivering cutting edge payment technology to their parents and employees”.
The idea appears to be to make it much clearer and I think we can all agree that it’s definitely an easier name to explain than Agora ever was!
Going forward Capita have said that they will be looking at further integration with SIMS Parent as they start doing more to increase parental engagement, with access to payments, events, and progress being integrated much more fully.
You will also find that in the future you will be able to have an ‘employee’ shop to enable them to purchase items or track interest. For example purchasing staff ski trip jumpers.
Please note: You do not need to do anything, but you will notice that the logos etc will be changing going forwards.
