Some of you may have already looked at the new SIMS Interventions area following the latest SIMS Spring release.

Designed to help teachers and SLT track underperforming pupils, SIMS Interventions enables schools to plan, run and monitor both the cost and impact of any intervention. Not only are there pre-defined reports available, you can design your own to get an overview of which interventions have been successful. If you choose to, you can also create Interventions graphs in SIMS Discover. To allow schools to focus specifically on pupil/student outcomes, new filters have been introduced into many areas of SIMS Assessment allowing for comparative analysis of pupils with interventions against those without or against any other contextual information. We are running a SIMS Interventions course in London on 25th May 2017 designed to provide delegates with a detailed understanding of this new area of SIMS.

The course will cover:

  • Individualised school setup SIMS Interventions
  • Planning and creating interventions
  • Adding students and facilitators to interventions
  • Viewing student-level intervention information
  • Bulk editing student information
  • Reporting and analysis including Discover
