New SIMS Data Collection Sheet

Following our recent blog post about the new Autumn Census data items we have created a new Data Collection Sheet for import into SIMS which includes the new fields for Pupil Nationality and Country of Birth.

This will enable schools to start collecting the information in readiness for the Autumn. The third new data field, Proficiency in English will be made available in the next (Summer) release of SIMS and we will publish a blog post with an updated data collection sheet at that time which incorporates it. Click below to download the report definition file. Download now! → Then import it into SIMS using the following steps:

• Go to Reports | Import Report
• Click the Open folder button and browse to the location where the file was saved
• Click on Import and then when the Status has changed to Imported, click on Close
