We have released support and teacher scales into SBS Budgets for users to factor into their planning. Please note that these scales are subject to change and any updates will be notified via this blog.

The National Joint Council (NJC) Support Scales for 2022

The latest scales include an uplift of £1925 across all scale points, this table is subject to change once finalised values have been released. The National Joint Council (NJC) Teacher Scales for 2022 and 2023

The government have also announced Teacher Scales for September 2022 and 2023. This has been designed to increase the beginning wage of a teacher to be £30,000 a year and is therefore not flat inflation rate for Teachers on the Main Scale. The upper and leadership scales have been proposed a flat 5% increase for 2022 and then 3% for 2023. These tables are subject to change once finalised details have been released.
