SIMS password problems? We've got it covered!

After the Spring update, some customers are having difficulties logging in to certain modules. This is due to the user credentials login requirements and these have been updated for the below modules.

You will need to change your SIMS.net login password to a compliant one and then log into that module with the same password.

This affects:

    • Nova T6 
    • Examinations
    • System Manager 6
    • Options 5 
  • IEP Writer
  • HR Assistant
  • Apply Timetable

A compliant password MUST:

    • contain at least eight characters
    • contain at least one alphabetic character
    • contain at least one number
    • contain at least one of the following special characters * @ ! # $ %.

So, to change the password:

Your system Administrator can reset your password.  They will give you the new password.  When signing in copy and paste this new password.  This will then allow you to change the password when signing in to one of your choice – ensuring you use the above criteria.
