The new way to get your Pupil Premium file

Previously you had to logon to the Key to Success website to get your Pupil Premium file but that site was getting old and has now been replaced by the Get Information About Pupils site (GIAP)

The DfE have confirmed that the CSV files now available from GIAP are now in line with the DfE specification. Schools can now import the file into their MIS to update their pupil premium information for financial year 2021/22.

So what do you need to do?

• Login to DFE Secure Access – here’s a handy link for you to login click here to view
• Go to Get information about pupils – if you don’t have this you will need to request access by clicking the link in the top right-hand corner (request access to a service)

• Once in GIAP – click on Data downloads at the top

• In Pre-prepared downloads look for PP_2122_LADFEno_1.csv

• Then import the file as normal to your MIS system

  In ESS SIMS

  Follow the route Tools > Pupil Premium > Import

  In Arbor

  Follow the route Student > All Students > Bulk Update > Pupil Premium Recipients
