Did you know that this summer Capita SIMS will not be creating a Performance Measures file (PM file) for English schools?

Instead, Capita have introduced some new tools within SIMS intended to enable schools to manage their own Performance Indicators and so ensure the PI Reports and associated analyses in other areas are accurate. For schools to have the correct values displayed in their PI Reports they will need to manage the indicators using these new tools. One advantage of this is that schools will be able to rectify any PI issues within their SIMS system and not have to wait for a new PI file to be issued by Capita.
Capita have produced a document ‘Managing Performance Measures for England Preparation’ which explains the new process, including a 7-stage overview and an estimate of the time to complete each stage. Download now! →
The detailed ‘Processing Results and Calculating PI Data in Exams and SIMS’ document takes you through the whole process in detail. Download now! →
If your school does not use the PI reports and instead takes the information out of SIMS and into a separate package, it is unlikely you will need to carry out this process. However, we do envisage that the changes will affect most schools. As always, we will be at the end of the phone/email, to support you. However, with these specific changes in mind, you might like to consider attending our Exams Analysis course on 12th July 2017. This full day course, delivered by Seymour Leeds, has been revised and updated to incorporate these changes and will ensure that delegates feel confident with the steps required once they return to school.

Please note: This course is popular every year so we recommend you book your place soon if you would like to attend.
