Another new academic year is upon us and we know that you have already been very busy in your schools preparing for the arrival of the new and returning pupils.
Despite the summer holidays only just drawing to a close, our Service Desk has been busier than ever, proving what we all knew already; there is no longer any ‘quiet time’ when it comes to running and administering a school or academy.
Despite logging and closing more summer holidays cases than ever, we realise that some of our customers have had to wait longer than they are used to for responses and resolutions to their queries. We are very sorry for this. We want to assure all of our customers that we are taking steps to address the upsurge in calls and as well as recruiting two new Service Desk Assistants, Dawn and Charlotte, who each bring SIMS experience to the role, we are also ensuring that there is additional high level support available on the Service Desk.
